Haddock with citrus salsa

Another easy and delicious fish meal, flavourful and healthy.

  • Preparation Time: 20 minutes


  • 2-3 oranges, peeled and sectioned
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 60ml lime or lemon juice
  • 2 tsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • ½ red pepper, finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • ½ tsp grated orange peel
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1tsp ground coriander
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 455g haddock fillets


  1. For the salsa: In a bowl, combine the oranges, onion, lime or lemon juice, parsley, chopped red pepper, garlic, orange peel, ¼ tsp salt and ⅛ tsp pepper. Cover and chill.
  2. Combine coriander, cumin and remaining salt and pepper. Rub mixture over both sides of the fillets.
  3. Grill, covered, over medium-hot heat until fish flakes easily with a fork.
  4. Serve with citrus salsa.
